Pitch Count

Just a quick note as I watch the game tonight (on Gamecast, unfortunately)–its amazing that, even when they struggle to score, the Sox can rack up the opponent’s pitch count. Buchholz, pitching really well, has only needed 46 pitches to get through 4 innings. Romero, on the other hand, has thrown 72 through the first 3 innings. Too bad we couldn’t plate another run!
